There have been a few mantras that have really been standing out to me this past summer and I thought maybe they could bring you some insight as well.
“Pressure is a privilege.” Billie Jean King
Every time I feel like the pressure might be too much I think about this quote and I gain perspective. I am an entrepreneur and that is not an easy lifestyle but I would not trade it for anything in the world. When people rely on you that is a privilege. So, when the going gets tough I say thank you for the pressure and remind myself that I’m growing. BJK would also go on to say; “Usually if you have tremendous pressure, it’s because an opportunity comes along.”
“Feedback is a gift.” Andrew Gazdecki
“Thick skin” is a requirement for entrepreneurship and any meaningful work. When I was young-er feedback felt difficult to take because it felt like I was a failure. When you stick around long enough you begin to learn that feedback truly is a gift. When anyone says to you, I think this is how this could be better, take yourself out of the emotional equation and dissect the feedback. There is always something to learn from feedback. It’s tough to take it on the nose day in and day out in many jobs, especially as a founder, it is a privilege and a gift. Take it, learn from it, and grow.

‘Be tough but be gracious and handle yourself with finesse’ is something my mom tells me all the time. I am not great at this at times - I can be a hammer. I have learned that when I apply this wisdom things flow smoother. I continue to work on it and hope it’s a good reminder for you as well.
Introducing Founder Station
Some of you might recall from March of this year (2023) I created an AI cofounder and had it help me launch Moonshot Ventures. Well, I picked that project back up in August and I’m so excited to introduce you to Founder Station.
Founder Station, is a dynamic launchpad for Founders, providing AI-enabled tools and resources to transform ideas into successful market-ready solutions.
The Vision: Founder Station (FS) envisions a world where transitioning from concept to market is seamless and efficient. Most of all expedited with less capital needs and more speed to validate in the real world. We aspire to empower founders, especially those in search of their next venture, by offering a new and innovative approach to ideation and collaboration. Our platform will be designed to be an AI-powered framework, enabling entrepreneurs to navigate the startup landscape with real-time education, workflows, playbooks, and building blocks to navigate their next ventures and gain collaborators organically in the process.
The FS journey starts with the first product, the Launchpad. I opened up the launchpad’s waitlist last week and I’m converting new member onboarding at 61%. I am very slowly inviting the first 100 founding members.

New Music
There’s one universal language I know we all speak and it’s music.
I went to a show at Red Rocks on Oct 1, 2023, and saw Nightmares on Wax and didn’t realize the headliner was French Kiwi Juice or FKJ as his fandom knows him. This whole night was magical and one of those picture-perfect nights at the best outdoor music venue in the world!
