Kicking off 2022 with an announcement
After 17 months of building one of the most exciting technology projects I’ve had the privilege to work on, I have decided to step down as CMO and Co-founder of Undock.
I’d like to start by saying thank you to Nash Ahmed and David Altman who gave me an opportunity to build the world’s most powerful calendar at the onset of a global pandemic. We have made some tremendous strides from an invention and growth standpoint.
Nash and I met on Twitter in the Summer of 2020 and quickly aligned forces to build and launch Undock, a super calendar that schedules, hosts, and documents your meetings, and ultimately a new calendar protocol that will solve the nagging pain of finding time with anyone, on any platform. A social calendar to connect the world better than before.
We’ve built something incredible so far and the team is vigilant and roaring to climb this mountain.
As for me, it came to a point where it felt necessary to move on and sometimes you have to leave even the things you love.
As a 5 x founder, I’ve gotten to know myself pretty well. Ask any founder, building startups are really hard; on the mind, body, and soul — so you do your damndest to give it your best but sometimes that’s not enough.
I want to thank our members, our investors, advisors, partners, and our team. We’ve hired some insanely talented people to run up this challenge and have such an incredible community who believe in the mission to help people program their time with Undock.
I’ll be championing Undock from the sidelines and am now on the outlook for what’s next.
Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart and I’m grateful for every minute I had the opportunity to build Undock and get to know some of the amazing people on our platform.
I look forward to connecting with many of you, catching up, and talking shop.
Let’s build,
Lizelle
